Extover® coarse
Extover® Coarse is a coarse-grain fire extinguishing and safety granulate based on expanded glass for lithium, LiPo and metal fires. The larger particle size is especially suitable for quickly covering larger areas as well as for safe battery storage, transport and packaging.
Reliable fire protection is particularly important in RC modelling, workshops and when handling lithium-ion batteries. Extover® Coarse displaces oxygen, forms a protective layer and can help effectively reduce the risk of re-ignition from batteries or metal fires.
Compared to Extover® Fine, the Coarse version features a larger particle size of approx. 1 to 4 mm. This makes it especially suitable for larger fire loads, safety boxes, hazardous goods packaging and applications requiring a loose and stable filling material.
