Extover® 5L Coarse supplied in a durable heavy-duty plastic bucket provides a professional safety solution for the storage, transport and fire containment of lithium-ion and LiPo batteries. The coarse expanded glass granulate with a particle size of approximately 1–4 mm is ideal for workshops, industry, laboratories, research facilities and RC hobby applications.

In the event of a battery fire, the granulate can be applied directly onto the fire source. The inorganic expanded glass surrounds the burning material, reduces oxygen supply and supports controlled fire containment. At extremely high temperatures, the material may melt and create a sealing protective layer that can help reduce reignition after cooling.

The heavy-duty bucket offers clean handling, safe storage and convenient reusability. The resealable container keeps the material protected and ready for immediate use whenever required.
