Our inventory management system and the associated online shop are perfectly coordinated and always up-to-date. Items marked as immediately available are actually in stock at our warehouse in Memmingen!
Our warehouse management system automatically transmits stock levels to the online shop in near real-time.
As soon as we receive an order, whether by phone, online shop, or in our physical store, the stock level and therefore the delivery time displayed in our online shop are updated. For example, if a customer buys the last available item, the indicator immediately changes from "green, available immediately, only 1 item in stock!" to "red, out of stock".
When we receive an order, it is quickly collected from our warehouse by one of our "pickers." Multiple orders can also be collected and prepared for shipment simultaneously without any problems. Thanks to our optimized shipping software with a chaotic storage system, each item has a barcoded storage location, allowing the system to know at all times which item is stored where and how many of each item is in stock.
The software now optimizes the route, sending our "picker" through the warehouse. The employee collects all items from the incoming orders, scans them, and thus releases the orders for shipment.
Should an incorrect item ever end up in the outbound shipment, the software prevents invoicing and therefore shipping! Incorrect deliveries due to incorrectly collected items, wrong quantities, or swapped shipping labels are thus a thing of the past. Only after the items and quantities have been correctly scanned can the package be labeled and shipped via DHL, the postal service, UPS, or GLS. Packages and letters are collected from our facility every business day, ensuring extremely fast and secure shipping.
Items that are in stock and ordered before 2:30 pm on weekdays will be shipped the same day! In over 94% of orders with in-stock items, the goods arrive at the customer's address the next business day.
Our shipping staff pays close attention to optimally packaged parcels. The parcels are packed and padded carefully and neatly so that our customers receive their goods not only quickly but also safely and undamaged.
