Extover® fine
Extover® Fine is a fine-grain fire extinguishing and safety granulate based on expanded glass for lithium, LiPo and metal fires. Its fine structure is especially suitable for smaller fire sources, sensitive areas and applications requiring high surface coverage.
The granulate is applied directly onto the fire source and forms an oxygen-displacing protective layer. At high temperatures, the material can melt and create an airtight crust, helping to effectively reduce the risk of re-ignition.
Compared to Extover® Coarse, the Fine version features a much smaller particle size. This allows for especially even distribution and makes it ideal for smaller batteries, charging stations, electronic work areas and hard-to-reach locations.
