Propellers are the beating heart of any RC aircraft: they convert motor power into thrust and ultimately define takeoff punch, climb rate, top speed and efficiency. In this category you will find a wide selection for nearly every application, from warbirds and 3D aerobatics to gliders.

Choose between fixed and folding propellers, as well as two-, three- and four-blade options. Depending on your airframe, flying style and fuselage clearance, different designs may be optimal. Gliders often benefit from folding blades, while aerobatic and scale models usually prefer smooth-running fixed props.

Material options include durable nylon and glass-fiber composites, ultra-stiff carbon variants and precisely crafted wooden propellers. Nylon offers robustness and value, carbon excels in stiffness and efficiency, and wood delivers exceptionally smooth operation.

Key parameters are diameter, pitch and hub/boring size. A 10×6 prop, for example, has a 10-inch diameter and 6-inch pitch. Also check rotation direction (CW/CCW), hub width and compatibility with your chosen collet adapter or spinner system.

Prop and power system must be matched. Oversized props can overload the motor, while undersized ones leave performance on the table. Follow the motor manufacturer’s guidelines and monitor current draw, RPM and temperature to balance performance and efficiency.

For electric gliders, folding propellers with the correct yoke and spinner are ideal. They streamline the blades during glide, reducing drag and improving glide ratio. Select blade length, profile and yoke width to suit your fuselage and power setup.

Accessories such as spinners, collet adapters, shims and reducer rings ensure proper installation. A well-balanced prop reduces vibration, protects bearings, improves sound and increases efficiency. We recommend checking and balancing every new propeller.

Safety first: Inspect props for cracks, nicks and deformation before each flight and respect the material’s maximum RPM rating. Do not use damaged propellers.
