R&G Epoxy Resin HT 2 with Hardener HT 2 is a highly transparent, cold-curing epoxy resin system designed for high-quality laminates, composite components and reliable bonding applications. Its very low viscosity allows glass, aramid and carbon fibres to be impregnated evenly and thoroughly.
The almost water-clear resin system is largely UV-stable and cures to a tack-free surface even when applied in very thin layers. Particularly transparent laminates can be produced in combination with finished glass fabrics, such as fabrics featuring an FK 144 or FK 800 finish.
In addition to laminating, the epoxy resin system is suitable for bonding materials such as wood, metal and polystyrene. It can be used with a wide range of common processing methods, including hand laminating, pressure and vacuum impregnation, pressing and filament winding.
