The Ford F-100 is one of the great classics of American pickup-truck history. The 1:18 scale FMS Ford F-100 brings the distinctive appearance of this legendary US pickup to the modern FCX18 II platform. Its highly detailed body, numerous scale accessories and capable chassis combine a classic pickup design with modern RC technology.
Power is provided by a high-performance 1312 brushless motor. Combined with the mechanical two-speed transmission, the F-100 offers precise control during slow crawling sections and sufficient performance for varied trail driving.
Authentic 1:18 scale Ford F-100:
The detailed body captures the distinctive shape of the classic Ford F-100. Chrome bumpers, Ford lettering, exterior mirrors, a roll bar and numerous additional scale details create an authentic appearance.
The magnetic quick-release body mounting system allows the body to be removed without tools. This provides quick and convenient access to the battery and electronics. A surfboard is also included as an additional scale accessory.
FCX18 II chassis for demanding terrain:
The compact FCX18 II chassis forms the technical foundation of the model and has been developed specifically for crawling and trail driving. Permanent four-wheel drive provides excellent traction, while the mechanical two-speed transmission allows the vehicle to be adapted to different driving situations.
Optional remotely controlled differential locks can be installed. This allows the differentials to be opened when driving on high-grip surfaces or locked for demanding crawling sections.
Brushless power and two-speed transmission:
The 1312 brushless motor combines controllable power delivery with the efficiency and reliability of a modern brushless system. Low gear provides precise control when negotiating obstacles, while high gear is available for faster trail driving.
Realistic suspension and permanent four-wheel drive:
The permanent 4WD system transfers power to all four wheels and provides reliable traction on loose or uneven terrain. With a wheelbase of 199 mm, the Ford F-100 remains agile and is ideal for technical trails, small obstacle courses and realistic scale adventures.
Comprehensive LED lighting system:
Headlights, rear lights, indicators and additional roof-mounted spotlights give the Ford F-100 a realistic appearance even in low-light conditions. The indicators respond to steering input, while additional lighting functions can be controlled using channel 4 of the transmitter.
