The YGE Caps Type 5 capacitor module is a highly effective upgrade for YGE electronic speed controllers up to 8s LiPo. It is designed to significantly improve partial-load stability and ensure reliable performance even under demanding operating conditions.

The module compensates cable inductance, especially when extended battery leads are used. This allows stable and safe operation even with critical cable lengths.

The YGE Caps Type 5 module should be soldered as close as possible to the ESC on the battery side. Cutting the cable is not required; removing approximately 5 mm of insulation is sufficient for installation.

Please note that the ESC’s anti-spark function does not apply to the capacitor module. This may result in a stronger spark when connecting the battery. The use of anti-spark connectors or a pre-charge resistor (4.7 ohm, 2–3 W) is recommended. The ESC’s internal anti-spark function remains unaffected.
