Not only with carbon fibre fuselages we recommend to move the antennas of 2.4 GHz receivers to the outside. Also with Gfk fuselages you can achieve a plus in safety and more range with a clean antenna installation.

During transport and handling of the models, but also during landings the antennas are often moved. With the 2.4 GHz antenna protection cable breaks are avoided and the antennas are aerodynamically well covered.

The part made of elastic material contains a channel through which the antenna is guided before the antenna protection is glued to the fuselage with silicone or superglue.

Always take care that the free ends of the antennas are not pushed into the antenna protection during operation!
