With this model Ugears puts the world at your feet - literally. We present the globe: a sophisticated model of the earth with two sets of decorative content - a rotating mechanism and curious little extras that make the model all the more interesting.

The main module of the model consists of two parts: the globe and the platform of the mechanism. The sphere of the globe sits on an axis which is inclined in the same way as the axis of our earth. Like most Ugears models, this globe is movable by a rubber band motor.

The mechanism is fully activated by turning the lever on the base completely clockwise once. As soon as you release the lever, the gears start working.

If you want it to rotate more slowly, you can turn the globe by hand and watch the continents float by. In addition to the main module, there are two other interchangeable extra modules: the shuttle and the sputnik.

They are attached to the main module by the planetary gears and rotate almost twice as fast as the globe.

By pulling the elevator lever, they rotate almost twice completely around their own axis. The globe is very easy to assemble and the motion sequences are very interesting to look at. Unique mechanism and original design make it an extremely intelligent gift and a perfect decoration for any home or office. You will return to the Ugears Globe model from time to time.
