ELASTOSIL® E43 N is a transparent, one-component self-levelling silicone adhesive that cures at room temperature by atmospheric moisture. Once cured, it forms a permanently elastic silicone rubber with excellent mechanical, UV and weather resistance.

It has been specifically developed for applications requiring reliable bonding together with suitability for food-contact applications. When fully cured, ELASTOSIL® E43 N complies with BfR Recommendation XV as well as FDA regulations 21 CFR §175.300 and 21 CFR §177.2600 for food-contact applications.

Its self-levelling consistency provides smooth and uniform surfaces, making it ideal for bonding, sealing and Formed-In-Place Gaskets (FIPG). The adhesive bonds well to glass, ceramics, metals, plastics and powder-coated surfaces.
