The Pilot-RC Extra NG 49″ PP is Pilot-RC’s second foam aircraft, developed for pilots looking for a true giant-scale flying experience in a compact, durable and easy-to-transport aerobatic model.
Unlike conventional moulded foam aircraft, every Pilot-RC foam model is carefully handcrafted. This results in an exceptionally lightweight yet rigid airframe. The PP foam structure is reinforced with carbon fibre and protected by a durable laminate finish, providing an excellent balance of strength, precision and low weight.
Designed by Ryu Sintuphrom, the Extra NG 49″ is equally at home performing extreme 3D manoeuvres or smooth, precise aerobatics. Its new quick-release wing system allows the wings to be installed and removed within moments, making transport and assembly at the flying field especially convenient.
