Proven 5IVE-T DNA
The Losi 5IVE-TG 3.0 is based on the proven DNA of the renowned 5IVE-T. The large-scale platform combines experience gained from successful short-course and 1/8-scale racing vehicles with the size and performance of a 1/5-scale model. Numerous technical improvements increase stability, durability and ease of maintenance while retaining the characteristics that made the original an icon.
Fujiwara FJ350RC 35.2cc petrol engine
At the heart of the 5IVE-TG 3.0 is the new Fujiwara FJ350RC petrol engine. Based on the proven Zenoah G320, it features a larger bore that increases displacement to 35.2cc. The result is increased torque and optimised power delivery, particularly throughout the low and mid-range.
High-torque metal-top steering servo
The Spektrum SPMSS1000MT metal-top large-scale steering servo produces 1,000 oz/in or 7.06 Nm of torque at 7.4 V. Its metal upper housing keeps the gears securely aligned while also helping to dissipate heat from the servo motor. This improves performance, precision and durability under heavy loads.
Durable injection-moulded body
The six-piece body is manufactured from injection-moulded polypropylene. Its flexible construction absorbs impacts and rollovers, while the injection-moulding process provides a consistent material thickness and reduces potential weak points.
New 32mm Big Bore shocks
The new 32mm Big Bore shocks provide 78% more oil volume than the original 5IVE-T shocks. This improves damping consistency and control. Tapered pistons support controlled compression and faster rebound, helping to increase traction on rough terrain.
Easy-access centre differential
The redesigned centre differential mount significantly simplifies removal and maintenance. The differential can be accessed by removing the upper cover without having to dismantle the brakes or linkages.
KMC KM549 wheels and Pro-Line Mirage TT tyres
The 5IVE-TG 3.0 features officially licensed KMC KM549 wheels with proven Pro-Line Pro-Loc technology. The new 8.5-inch Pro-Line Mirage TT tyres provide a secure tyre-to-wheel connection and reliable traction across a wide range of surfaces.
Reinforced suspension arms
The redesigned front and rear suspension arms are reinforced around the lower shock mounting points. The shock geometry has also been optimised for the larger 32mm Big Bore shocks, improving durability and suspension performance.
Optimised drivetrain
A new 43/12 ring and pinion gear works together with a 67T spur gear. The revised gearing is specifically matched to the larger vehicle, massive tyres and increased output of the 35.2cc engine, providing an effective balance of acceleration, power delivery and drivability.
Spektrum Smart radio system
The included Spektrum DX3 Smart 2.4GHz DSMR transmitter and Spektrum SR615 receiver provide precise and dependable control. When used with the included Spektrum Smart receiver battery, its charge level can be monitored using the battery level indicator on the DX3 transmitter.
