The Edge 540 V3 is the first model in a new generation of 1,000 mm EPP aerobatic aircraft with significantly increased bending and torsional rigidity. The fuselage has been extensively reinforced, virtually eliminating fuselage twist during fast rolling manoeuvres.
The wing is also thicker and stronger, allowing the model to withstand extreme 3D manoeuvres and high-G loads. Despite its robust construction, the Edge 540 V3 retains predictable, precise and forgiving handling characteristics.
The model already delivers excellent flight performance with a 2212-size motor. Pilots looking for extreme power and uncompromising 3D performance can install a larger motor up to 2217 size. This makes the Edge equally suitable for controlled precision aerobatics and spectacular 3D manoeuvres with an impressive power reserve.
Outdoor Series:
The Outdoor Series is designed for pilots who prefer larger EPP models with fully airfoiled wings. Developed together with experienced 3D pilots, these models combine excellent 3D capability with easy and predictable handling. The Edge 540 V3 therefore flies precisely while remaining easy to control during demanding aerobatic manoeuvres.
