The Voltmaster CA Glue Tip Cleaner provides a quick and easy way to clear blocked dispensing nozzles of virtually all common CA adhesives. Simply heat the fitted steel wire tip carefully and insert it slowly into the blocked glue nozzle.
The two-piece handle is designed so that the steel wire can be replaced at any time. A new piece of wire can therefore be fitted whenever required, allowing the tip cleaner to be reused permanently.
Package contents:
The set includes two handle sections, all required screws and one steel wire tip already cut to the appropriate length.
Removing the print supports:
The openings intended for the screws contain small supports required during the printing process. Insert a narrow screwdriver into each hole from the opposite side and carefully push the support out. It will normally come loose immediately and fall out of the opening.
Before assembly, check that all screw openings are completely clear and that no support material remains inside them.
Assembly:
Place the supplied steel wire tip into the designated channel inside the handle. Make sure that the bent section of the wire is seated completely inside the internal guide and does not protrude from the side.
Align both handle sections precisely. Insert the supplied screws into the prepared openings and tighten the two handle sections evenly. Tighten the screws only until both handle sections are securely joined without a visible gap.
Application:
Carefully and gently heat only the steel wire tip protruding from the handle. Slowly insert the heated wire into the blocked dispensing nozzle of the CA adhesive. This helps loosen the adhesive residue and reopen the nozzle. Carefully repeat the procedure if necessary.
Replaceable steel wire tip:
If the supplied steel wire tip becomes worn, bent or too short, simply remove the screws and replace the wire. The cleaner can therefore be refitted with new steel wire as often as required.
Replacement wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm is required. We recommend cutting the replacement wire so that approximately 3 to 4 cm protrudes from the handle after assembly.
A high-quality side cutter or a thin cutting disc fitted to a Dremel or comparable rotary tool can be used to shorten the wire. Cut or grind the front end at an angle to create a sharp, tapered point. This makes it easier to insert the wire into a blocked dispensing nozzle.
Safety information:
The heated steel wire can cause burns. Never heat the CA adhesive bottle or the adhesive itself. Work carefully in a well-ventilated area and keep away from flammable materials. Allow the steel wire tip to cool completely after use.
