The AddCAP 10AS is a powerful backup capacitor for receiver systems using high-performance digital servos powered by a switching BEC (S-BEC) or a power distribution unit.

Many powerful digital servos can feed voltage back into the receiver system during braking or rapid movements. As some power distribution units and BEC systems cannot transfer these voltage spikes back to the battery, the AddCAP 10AS absorbs them and contributes to the safe and stable operation of the receiver system.

The capacitor also supports the power supply during short periods of high current demand. This can reduce voltage drops, especially when several powerful servos start moving simultaneously.

The AddCAP 10AS is connected using its integrated UNI servo plug at an available receiver port or the FBL system of a helicopter. An integrated circuit charges the capacitor slowly and in a controlled manner, preventing a spark when connecting or switching on the system.
