The Piper PA-18 Super Cub is a two-seat single-engine monoplane developed on the basis of the Piper PA-11. In nearly 40 years of production, over 9,000 have been built. Super Cubs are often used for bush flying, banner pulling and towing.

Like the prototype, the PA-18 Super Cub from FMS has excellent short takeoff and landing (STOL) characteristics. The model can be airborne in less than meters! Thanks to the functional flaps and wing profile, the Super Cub can be flown very slowly and true to the prototype. The oversized rubber tires make takeoffs and landings possible even on high grass runways and uneven terrain. In addition, a float kit is available as an option.

The PA-18 has a two-piece main wing and a two-piece fuselage, which makes transport much easier. Thus, the model has room in any trunk and is ready to fly after a few simple steps.

Includes FMS Reflex stabilization system
Included with this model is an FMS Reflex system specially programmed for this aircraft. This electronic stabilization system is designed to assist, but not interfere with, pilot control commands. The Reflex system works with both PPM and SBUS inputs, and works natively with all common rudder control systems. When the Reflex system is connected to a 3-channel switch, you can choose between 3 different modes:

Stabilized Mode: When releasing the control sticks, the model is automatically brought into a neutral flight position, which offers beginners and inexperienced pilots a lot of safety in dicey situations.
Optimized Mode: The gyro system of the Reflex system counteracts external influences such as gusts of wind or crosswinds and keeps the model precisely in a stable position.
Off: The Reflex System can be switched off completely. The FMS Reflex System is set specifically for this flight model. No further programming is required. The FMS Reflex System can be bound with all receivers with at least 4 channels.
