With the FMS Toyota Tacoma in 1:24 scale, FMS brings the iconic off-road legend to the FCX24M platform as an officially licensed mini RC model. The detailed ABS hardbody meets modern engineering with an extended wheelbase, metal chassis, two-speed transmission and a powerful 050 motor. Whether you’re crawling over books and furniture indoors or tackling rocks and roots outdoors – the Tacoma is ready for adventure.
The robust hard-plastic body is produced using precision injection molding and replicates every detail of the real truck: grille, bumpers, fender flares, door handles, mirrors, wipers and even the tailgate. The scale appearance remains completely authentic. The Tacoma is available in three original factory colors – grey, red and blue.
The redesigned FCX24M platform features an extended 153 mm wheelbase, high torsional rigidity and a strong metal ladder-frame chassis. Solid front and rear axles ensure maximum off-road capability, while counter-rotating driveshafts reduce torque twist and provide smooth, stable climbing performance.
A highlight of the Tacoma is the factory-installed two-speed transmission, which can be shifted directly from the transmitter. Together with the strong 050 brushed motor, the model delivers precise low-speed crawling in low gear and surprising top speed in high gear – perfect for indoor and outdoor use.
The large, soft off-road tires with 47 mm diameter provide excellent traction and increase ground clearance to 30 mm. This allows the Tacoma to overcome nearly any obstacle – from keyboards and books to rocks and branches. Thanks to the splash-proof electronics, the truck remains ready for action even in damp conditions.
Weighing around 400 g including the battery, the Tacoma is light enough for tabletop crawling yet sturdy enough for outdoor trails. The included 2S LiPo battery provides up to 30 minutes of runtime.
