Deluxe Materials 3D Weld is a specially developed solvent adhesive for bonding components made from common 3D-printing filaments. It is ideal for model builders and users who want to create clean and durable joints between parts made from PLA, PLA+, ABS, PETG or ASA.
The adhesive creates a genuine welded joint by chemically fusing the plastic surfaces together. This produces a strong, non-brittle and nearly seamless bond. 3D Weld is therefore particularly suitable for the precise assembly, repair and finishing of detailed models and complex components.
Its rapid initial bond within approximately 4–5 seconds allows you to work efficiently. The joint becomes firm enough to handle in less than one minute while still providing a brief initial window for accurately positioning the parts.
Thanks to its low-viscosity formula, 3D Weld reliably penetrates extremely fine gaps and spaces. This is especially beneficial for layer-built 3D-printed parts. The adhesive can also help smooth surfaces and may be painted over once fully cured.

Tip – properties of the materials being bonded:
3D-printing filaments such as PLA, PLA+, ABS, PETG and ASA have different surface structures and degrees of hardness. PLA and PLA+ are relatively hard and smooth, requiring the adhesive to penetrate fine gaps reliably. ABS and ASA react more strongly with solvents and allow particularly strong welded joints. PETG is slightly flexible and requires an adhesive formula that bonds reliably between the individual printed layers.
