The Extover® Fine fire extinguishing granulate in a 10-liter metal bucket is a professional safety solution for lithium-ion, lithium-polymer, and metal fires in workshops, industrial facilities, storage areas, laboratories, and research environments.
The fine 0.5–1 mm grain size provides exceptional flow characteristics and allows the material to optimally fill even the smallest cavities and gaps. This makes Extover® Fine granulate ideal for sensitive electronics, lithium battery packs, transport containers, and safety-critical applications with high fire protection requirements.
The inorganic expanded glass granulate surrounds the fire source, reduces oxygen supply, and forms a sealing protective layer at high temperatures. This significantly reduces the risk of reignition while avoiding secondary damage caused by water or aggressive chemical extinguishing agents.
How It Works:
The granulate is loosely applied onto the fire source. The expanded glass granulate surrounds the fire and reliably suppresses it. At high temperatures, the material melts in a controlled manner on the surface and forms an airtight protective layer which hardens during cooling and helps prevent reignition.

Tested Effectiveness:
The extinguishing performance of Extover® granulate has been successfully tested and confirmed by MPA Dresden. For optimal performance, the fire source should be completely covered. A coverage depth of approximately 10–30 cm above the fire source is recommended.
Packaging & Storage:
The Fine granulate is supplied in a high-quality UN-approved tinplate metal bucket. The bucket is stackable, suitable for hazardous materials, and features a large opening for clean pouring and easy emptying.
The package includes lid, clamping ring, and safety split pin.
