Rope linkage for tail units on aeroplane models, e.g. as push rod replacement. This makes it very easy to implement backlash-free and light-weight articulations.

The highly flexible steel cables have an extremely thin plastic coating and therefore do not rub. Commercially available fork or ball ends can be screwed onto the threads of the eyebolts.
