The Spektrum NX8+ is a powerful 20-channel DSMX transmitter offering the versatility required for demanding models and complex aircraft such as EDF jets. It combines the proven Spektrum AirWare operating system with Smart technology, Forward Programming, Wi-Fi connectivity and intuitive operation.
The large, backlit 3.2-inch colour display presents menus and telemetry data clearly at a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels. Several colour palettes are available and can be customised to suit the pilot's preferences. Navigation is simple using the scroll wheel and clearly arranged Back, Clear and Function buttons.
20 Channels and Advanced Programming:
The NX8+ provides 20 channels and extensive programming options for aeroplanes, sailplanes, helicopters and multirotors. These include 24 programmable mixes, eight sequencers and up to ten different flight modes. The internal memory stores up to 250 models.
Pre-installed templates for various BNF aircraft simplify model setup. New models can also be created using a general template for the relevant model type.
Smart Transmitter File Technology:
The NX8+ is ready for Smart Transmitter File technology. With compatible E-flite BNF aircraft, the receiver can transfer the required programming settings directly to the transmitter. This eliminates the need to enter numerous settings manually or download a separate model file for supported aircraft.
Spektrum Smart Technology:
When used with compatible Spektrum Smart batteries, ESCs and receivers, the NX8+ supports comprehensive telemetry. Important model data can be transmitted directly to the transmitter and displayed on the screen or announced using programmable voice alerts.
AS3X+ and Forward Programming:
Compatible Spektrum receivers featuring AS3X+ technology can be configured directly from the transmitter using Forward Programming. Many settings can therefore be adjusted conveniently without connecting the receiver separately to a computer.
Large 3.2-Inch Colour Display:
The backlit 3.2-inch display features a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels and provides a clear view of menus and telemetry values. Users can select from several preset colour palettes or create a customised colour scheme.
Wi-Fi and USB-C Connectivity:
Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows the NX8+ to be registered and updated with the latest firmware directly from the transmitter. The USB-C port is used to charge the included Li-Ion battery and provides a convenient connection to a PC or laptop.
Via USB, the transmitter can be used with many RC flight simulators, including the RealFlight RC Flight Simulator. The USB connection also supports the detection of compatible accessory devices.
Programmable Voice Alerts:
The programmable voice alert system can provide information about flight modes, telemetry values and triggered warnings. This allows the pilot to receive important information without looking away from the model. A headphone socket is also available for private voice output using suitable earphones.
Simple and Intuitive Operation:
The programming menus are controlled using the scroll wheel and dedicated function buttons. The Telemetry Ticker Tape displays selected telemetry values in real time, while the customisable “My List” function provides quick access to frequently used menu items.
Wireless Trainer Link:
The Spektrum Wireless Trainer Link allows the NX8+ to connect wirelessly to a compatible Spektrum DSMX transmitter for instructor and student operation. Once configured, ModelMatch technology enables the devices to reconnect without repeating the binding process each time.
DSMX Technology:
The NX8+ uses proven Spektrum DSMX 2.4 GHz technology. Frequency-agile operation and excellent interference resistance provide a reliable connection between the transmitter and a compatible receiver.
Integrated Serial Port:
An integrated serial port supports compatible third-party modules. The port does not provide power, so an external power source is required for any connected module.
High-Capacity Li-Ion Battery:
The NX8+ includes a long-lasting 3.7 V 1S 2,200 mAh lithium-ion transmitter battery. It can be charged conveniently using the supplied USB cable.
