When a Spektrum Smart LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, the charger recognizes the parameters of that Smart LiPo battery from the Smart memory microchip and gently reads the LiPo. You can use the charger to display and adjust presets, such as charging current, so you only need to press the charger's Start button to charge the package each time. Clever technology knows how to do the rest.

Each Smart LiPo battery is factory assembled with the next generation IC3 ™ - or IC5 ™ - connector, which is compatible with older devices with rugged EC3 ™ - and EC5 ™ - connectors.
