Classic F3A aerobatics with modern technology:
The Phoenix Model Silent F3A with a wingspan of 1,800 mm combines the timeless appearance of classic F3A competition aircraft with modern ARF construction. Designed for both electric and combustion power systems, it is equally suitable for precise aerobatics and enjoyable sport flying.
Precise flight characteristics:
The proven NACA airfoil delivers smooth, neutral and predictable handling. Precision aerobatics, clean rolls, loops and elegant low passes are performed with confidence while maintaining excellent overall stability throughout the flight envelope.
Lightweight and durable construction:
The lightweight wooden airframe provides an excellent balance between strength and weight. The Smart Lock wing mounting system allows fast assembly and makes transport and field setup quick and convenient.
Easy access to electronics:
The removable top hatch provides comfortable access to the motor, battery, fuel tank and onboard electronics, making maintenance and battery changes fast and straightforward.
Electric retracts included:
The Silent F3A comes factory-equipped with electric retractable landing gear including the matching controller unit. No additional retract components are required for installation.
Flexible power options:
The aircraft can be equipped with a powerful brushless electric setup or alternatively with 2-stroke glow, 4-stroke glow or 15–20 cc gasoline engines, allowing every pilot to choose the preferred power system.
