The Spektrum adapter enables UniSens-E, GPS-Logger 1–3, UniLog 2 and MicroVario sensors to be used with telemetry-capable Spektrum receivers and the Spektrum TM1000 system. It converts the sensor data into the Spektrum X-Bus protocol, allowing the telemetry values to be displayed on compatible Spektrum transmitters.
Compatible Spektrum transmitters:
All telemetry-capable Spektrum transmitters are suitable for displaying the data, with the exception of the DX7s and DX8G1.
Compatible Spektrum receivers:
The adapter can be used with Spektrum receivers equipped with a dedicated X-Bus port. Compatible receivers include:
- AR8010T
- AR9030T
- AR6270T
- AR637T
- AR6610T
Newer receivers such as the AR8020T, AR10100T and AR10360T are also compatible with Spektrum adapters manufactured from November 2022 onwards. This revised version can be identified by the number “2” on the label.
Connections:
The Spektrum adapter features one servo-style port for the sensor telemetry cable and two identical X-Bus ports. One X-Bus port is connected to the receiver using the included cable. An additional Spektrum-compatible sensor can be connected to the second port. Both X-Bus ports are identical and can be used interchangeably.
Using multiple sensors:
Several compatible sensors can be connected in parallel using suitable Y-cables with item number 3140. Different Spektrum adapter addresses must be assigned to the connected sensors in their respective setup menus.
For example, a UniSens-E and a GPS-Logger 2 can be operated together through a single Spektrum adapter. It is important to ensure that no Spektrum sensor type is assigned more than once. For example, the vario sensor must only be activated in one of the connected devices.
