The SkyRC S65neo combines charging, discharging and battery maintenance in a compact device. With up to 65 W of charging power and a charging current of up to 10 A, it supports a wide range of RC batteries. The built-in power supply connects directly to a 100–240 V AC outlet, so no separate power supply is required.
The charger supports 2–4S LiPo, LiHV, Li-Ion and LiFe batteries, 6–8-cell NiMH and NiCd batteries, and 3- or 6-cell lead-acid batteries rated at 6 or 12 V. It features an XT60 main connector, a balance port and a temperature sensor connection.
Lithium battery programmes include Balance Charge, Charge, Storage and Discharge. Storage mode brings your batteries to storage voltage. The discharge function provides up to 2 A and a maximum of 10 W, using the balance port as part of the discharge process. The actual charging and discharging current depends on battery voltage and the applicable power limit.
NiMH and NiCd batteries can be charged, discharged and topped up using the Re-Peak programme. Cycle programmes provide one to three charge-discharge cycles. For lead-acid batteries, the S65neo offers Normal, AGM Charge, Cold Charge and Discharge programmes.
The ColorX colour interface is operated using three buttons. English is the factory default, with additional menu languages available, including German. The integrated Battery Meter displays total voltage, individual cell voltages and internal resistance. A temperature-controlled fan adjusts cooling to load and temperature, while synchronous rectification improves efficiency and reduces waste heat.
The SkyRC S65neo can also operate as an adjustable DC power supply for RC accessories such as a pit light, tyre warmers or a tyre truer. Output settings range from 6–17 V and 0.5–9 A, within the maximum output power of 65 W. Firmware updates are available via USB-C using SkyRC Charger Master software.
