The SparkSwitch RS is a powerful ignition switch in compact design with speed measurement and optional voltage control for 6V ignitions. With the SparkSwitch RS, the ignition can be conveniently switched on and off from the transmitter. The external LED or telemetry status message indicates the switching status at any time. Thus, the SparkSwitch RS not only facilitates handling with gasoline engines, but also increases safety. The engine is quickly switched off in emergency situations, such as a defective throttle servo.

An important feature is the galvanic isolation of the receiving system from the ignition. Both the switching operation and the speed feedback from the ignition are optically isolated from the receiver. Thus, a defective shielding at the ignition or other interferences do not cause any disturbances in the sensitive receiving system.

The tachometer input can be connected directly to the tacho output of the ignition (if available). For ignitions that do not have a tachometer connection, there is a separate pickup RPM-Probe that can be connected in parallel with the Hall sensor. The RPM data can be transmitted to all common telemetry systems: the SparkSwitch RS automatically detects the connected system, so no settings via USB interface are necessary.

The SparkSwitch RS can be ordered in two versions: With or without voltage regulation. The regulated version regulates input voltage up to 9.0V reliably down to 6.0V. The version without voltage regulation passes the connected voltage (max. 13.0V) 1:1.
