The MAVERICK from D-Power is a radio-controlled electric racing boat that combines high performance, easy handling and an attractive price. Its powerful water-cooled brushed drive accelerates the boat to speeds of over 25 km/h.
A special highlight is the integrated self-righting function. If the boat capsizes while driving, it can automatically return to the upright position using the throttle function of the transmitter.
The MAVERICK is supplied as a ready-to-run RTR model with all onboard electronics already installed. The package also includes a 2-channel transmitter, a Li-Ion battery, a USB charger, four AA batteries for the transmitter and a practical boat stand.
Construction:
The MAVERICK features a robust ABS hull that is supplied fully painted and finished with a sealed decal design. The rudder system is made from durable plastic, while the turn fins are manufactured from stainless steel.
All electronics are already installed and ready for operation. The lockable hatch provides easy access to the spacious interior of the hull. The boat is ready for use after only a few simple steps.
Drive System:
The racing boat is powered by a water-cooled brushed 390 motor with metal gearbox. The motor works together with a water-cooled and waterproof Aquacon 15A speed controller.
The 2.3 mm flexible shaft provides efficient power transmission to the nylon propeller. This allows the MAVERICK to reach speeds of more than 25 km/h and makes it especially suitable for beginners and younger model boat pilots.
Control:
The MAVERICK brushed racing boat is controlled precisely and reliably by the installed waterproof 9 g micro servo. Control signals are transmitted using the included D-Power D2R 2-channel pistol-grip transmitter operating on the interference-resistant 2.4 GHz band.
Self-Righting Function:
If the boat capsizes while driving, the integrated self-righting function can automatically return it to the upright position. By applying controlled throttle inputs using the transmitter, the boat rotates back into its normal driving position so the run can continue immediately.
