The Modster MDX F4U is a detailed reproduction of the legendary F4U-4 Corsair and is an excellent first warbird for advanced beginners with basic aileron flying experience. Its impressive speed and agility also provide plenty of fun for experienced pilots.
The model is supplied completely ready to fly as an RTF version, including a 2.4 GHz transmitter, flight battery and USB charger. Only four AA batteries for the transmitter are additionally required.
Three selectable flight modes:
The Modster MDX F4U features three different flight modes, allowing its flight characteristics to be adapted to the pilot’s experience. Beginner mode provides strong electronic assistance and limits possible flight movements. Advanced and expert modes provide progressively more control and greater freedom of movement.

Aerobatics at the push of a button:
The dedicated aerobatic switch on the transmitter allows basic aerobatic manoeuvres such as loops and rolls to be performed at the push of a button. The pre-installed 6-axis gyro system stabilizes the aircraft and supports safe and precise control.
Robust and durable construction:
The model is manufactured from lightweight and durable EPP material. This helps the Corsair withstand minor mishaps during everyday flying. The integrated propeller saver also reduces the risk of damage to the propeller.
Compact and easy to transport:
With a wingspan of only 400 mm and a flying weight of approximately 60 g, the Modster MDX F4U is easy to transport. It is therefore ideal for spontaneous flying sessions at suitable model airfields and sufficiently large open areas.
Flight time and controls:
Depending on flying style and throttle use, the flight time is approximately 7 to 15 minutes. The included 2.4 GHz transmitter is supplied exclusively in Mode 2, with the throttle and rudder controlled by the left stick.
