This 1930s style steam tug brings the charm of historic working vessels to your model workshop. Its classic lines and distinctive superstructure recall the tugboats that once operated in harbours and on inland waterways. With an approximate length of 720 mm and a scale of 1:20, the model provides an attractive starting point for an individual shipbuilding project.
The wooden kit includes precisely laser-cut parts and illustrated building instructions that guide you through assembly step by step. A suitable 380 brushed electric motor, a 30 A brushed electronic speed controller and a rudder servo are already included.
Classic tugboat with historic character
The design is inspired by traditional steam tugs of the 1930s. The hull shape and superstructure capture the distinctive appearance of these working vessels. Your choice of colours and additional detailing allows you to create an individual model.
Laser-cut wooden construction
Precisely manufactured wooden parts and a carefully planned structure make assembly an engaging project. The illustrated instructions support each stage of construction and detailing. Suitable adhesives, sanding sealer and paints are required for surface preparation and finishing.
Designed for RC operation
With the additional RC equipment installed, the tug can be operated as a working model on calm waters. Radio control functions are motor and rudder. Propulsion is provided by the included electric motor – the steam tug designation refers to the historic vessel style, not to a model steam propulsion system.
