FMS has reissued the 1100mm P-51 Racer! The new version is available in 4 different colour schemes - Dago Red (National Championship Air Race winner), Voodoo (Reno Air Races Unlimited class champion), Miss America or Blue Thunder II.
Like the original:
The P-51 comes with numerous scale details such as a realistic tilt landing gear, air intakes, functional flaps, a scale four-blade propeller and many more scale details that make the aircraft look like the original.
Powerful engine:
The P-51 from FMS is powered by an oversized 900 KV brushless drive, an 80A regulator and a highly efficient 4-blade propeller. Due to the brute power the P-51 reaches a top speed of over 140 km/h.
Built-in electronics:
The model is made of EPO hard foam and comes with fully installed electronics ready to fly out of the box. Motor, controller, servos for aileron, rudder and elevator as well as the landing flaps and the electronic retractable undercarriage are already installed. All that is needed is a suitable battery, which with up to 4,000mAh has room in the oversized battery compartment, and the remote control system.
FMS Reflex stabilisation system included:
This model comes with an FMS Reflex system specially programmed for this aircraft. This electronic stabilisation system is designed to assist, but not interfere with, pilot control commands. The Reflex system works with both PPM and SBUS inputs and works natively with all common rudder control systems. When the Reflex system is connected to a 3-channel switch, 3 different modes can be selected:
Stabilized mode:
When the control sticks are released, the model is automatically brought into a neutral flight position, which offers beginners and inexperienced pilots in particular a lot of safety in dicey situations.
Optimised mode: The gyro system of the Reflex system counteracts external influences such as gusts of wind or crosswinds and keeps the model precisely in a stable position.
Off: The Reflex System can be switched off completely. The FMS Reflex System is set specifically for this model aircraft. No further programming is required. The FMS Reflex System can be bound with all receivers with at least 4 channels.
