The FMS F4U Corsair V2 RTF is a compact and powerful warbird with a wingspan of 800 mm. Its powerful brushless system, distinctive four-blade propeller and numerous scale details recreate the characteristic appearance of the legendary Corsair at the flying field.
The model is manufactured from durable EPO foam and comes fully painted. The motor, speed controller, servos and receiver are factory-installed. A 2.4 GHz transmitter, a 2S 1,300 mAh LiPo battery and a suitable LiPo charger are also included. After completing a few assembly steps and performing a full function check, the Corsair is ready for its first flight.
The 3015-KV1700 brushless motor works together with a 20 A brushless speed controller and provides powerful flight performance when used with the included 2S LiPo battery. Depending on flying style, weather conditions and battery condition, flight times of approximately six minutes are possible.
Please note: This model is not a toy. Despite its largely flight-ready RTF configuration, the aircraft must be fully inspected and adjusted where necessary before its first flight. Control directions, neutral positions, linkages, trims, centre of gravity and the safe operation of all components must be checked before every flight.
RTF means that the required components are largely included and factory-installed. It does not mean that the aircraft can be launched or flown safely without knowledge, preparation and inspection. A warbird such as the F4U Corsair requires active and confident control. For inexperienced pilots, we strongly recommend completing the initial setup and first flight together with an experienced model pilot or at a model flying club.
