The Phoenix Extra 260 78" V2 is a versatile high-performance aerobatic aircraft designed for pilots who want to combine precision aerobatics with extreme 3D capability. Large control surfaces allow precise aerobatic sequences as well as aggressive 3D maneuvers such as hovering, harriers, torque rolls and knife-edge flight. Even at very low airspeeds, the Extra 260 remains stable and highly controllable.
The Smart-Lock wing mounting system allows quick assembly at the field. A removable horizontal stabilizer and canopy provide easy transport and convenient access to the electronics and power system. Numerous factory-installed components help simplify final assembly.
The Extra 260 78" V2 is designed for either powerful 35–38cc gasoline engines or modern 12S electric power systems. Premium carbon fiber landing gear, carbon tailwheel assembly and a carbon spinner are included in the package.
