This clear two-part epoxy adhesive is suitable for strong and permanently durable bonds in model building, workshops and a wide range of repair applications. Once fully cured, the bond is resistant to fuel, solvents and vibration and can be sanded easily.
The resin and hardener are mixed at a ratio of 1:1 by volume or weight. At an ambient temperature of 20 to 25°C, the working time before gelling is approximately 15 minutes. Bonded parts can be carefully handled after approximately 25 to 35 minutes. Full strength is reached after approximately four to six hours, with complete curing after 24 hours.
The epoxy bonds soft and hard wood, plywood, chipboard, fibreglass, carbon composites, aluminium, copper, steel, brass, concrete, ceramics, porcelain, glass, rigid plastics and expanded polystyrene. It does not become brittle with age, making it particularly suitable for long-lasting bonds exposed to vibration.
Suitable fillers can be added to create a filling compound. Compatible fillers include microballoons, talcum powder, baby powder, diatomaceous earth, fine balsa or lime wood sawdust and chopped glass fibres.

Application:
Thoroughly mix the resin and hardener at a ratio of 1:1. Prepare only as much adhesive as can be used within the approximately 15-minute working time. Larger quantities can cure considerably faster due to the heat produced by the chemical reaction.
Excess uncured adhesive can be removed using a cloth or paper towel moistened with methylated spirit.
S6300 epoxy paint thinner can be used for thinning. However, adding thinner extends the curing time and reduces the final bond strength. If a lower-viscosity epoxy is required, a dedicated laminating or finishing epoxy should be used instead.
Use with fillers:
Suitable fillers include microballoons, talcum powder, baby powder, diatomaceous earth, fine balsa or lime wood sawdust and chopped glass fibres. Adding a filler can shorten the working time by up to 25 percent and may reduce the bond strength depending on the type and quantity used.
Storage:
Store tightly closed in the original packaging in a cool, dry and dark location at temperatures between 13°C and 25°C. Do not expose the adhesive to temperatures below 10°C. Do not interchange the resin and hardener caps, as even a small amount of hardener can affect a larger quantity of resin.
When stored correctly, the unopened product has a guaranteed shelf life of one year.
Low temperatures, moisture or prolonged storage may cause the resin to thicken and lose its transparency. If this occurs, carefully warm the tightly sealed resin container in a 60 to 70°C water bath for several minutes until the resin becomes completely clear again.
