The DERBEE Tucano is a detailed RC aircraft with a wingspan of 1200 mm, combining an attractive scale appearance with a powerful brushless system and a durable EPO foam construction. As a PNP version, the DERBEE Tucano is supplied with a factory-installed brushless motor, 40A speed controller, seven 9 g servos and electric retractable landing gear. To complete the model, only a suitable receiver, transmitter, 3S or 4S LiPo battery and compatible charger are required. Thanks to its well-designed construction, the aircraft can be assembled in just a few steps and prepared for flight quickly.
Power is provided by a high-performance DERBEE 3720-900KV brushless outrunner combined with a 40A brushless speed controller. The Tucano can be operated with either a 3S or 4S 2200 mAh LiPo battery, providing sufficient power for fast low passes, precise aerobatic figures and dynamic flight manoeuvres.
The durable EPO foam construction combines low weight with excellent everyday practicality. Minor damage can be repaired quickly using a suitable EPO-safe cyanoacrylate adhesive if required.
Functional landing flaps and the factory-installed electric retractable landing gear increase the model’s capabilities and create a particularly realistic appearance in flight. Numerous details, including antennas, panel lines and the carefully designed cockpit, emphasise the scale character of the Tucano both on the ground and in the air.
