Thanks to cutting-edge manufacturing techniques such as laser-cutting of components and the use of lightweight materials, the Charly ARF has undergone a dramatic transformation. Additionally, a modern brushless electric motor contributes significantly to weight reduction. In fact, the takeoff weight has been reduced by approximately 1000 grams (yes, that's right, a whole kilogram). The generously designed motor cowl provides a gentle braking effect during aerobatic maneuvers, ensuring a smooth and consistent flight experience, just like in the good old days.

The Charly ARF performs admirably with a 3-cell LiPo battery (recommended capacity: 3500-4500mAh), handling all aerobatic maneuvers with ease. For those seeking even more power, high-performance enthusiasts can opt for a 4-cell LiPo battery (14.8V), turning the Charly ARF into a vertical rocket at approximately half throttle.
