A special event awaits aviation enthusiasts and families on June 28, 2026, as the Traditionsgemeinschaft Jagdbombergeschwader 34 “Allgäu” hosts its Shelter Festival at Allgäu Airport. Visitors can enjoy a unique combination of aviation history, aircraft displays, simulators, live music, and family-friendly entertainment.
Among the highlights are the legendary F-84F Thunderstreak, F-104G Starfighter, and PA-200 Tornado aircraft on display. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience an F-104G Starfighter flight simulator and explore numerous historical exhibits related to the squadron’s heritage.
The event also features traditional Bavarian food, lunch service, coffee and cake, making it an enjoyable day for visitors of all ages. Admission is free.
