New in our range: Deluxe Materials 3D Weld for 3D-printed parts
Deluxe Materials 3D Weld specialist adhesive is now available from Voltmaster. This low-viscosity solvent adhesive has been specially developed for bonding 3D-printed components made from PLA, PLA+, ABS, PETG and ASA.
Instead of bonding the parts only at the surface, 3D Weld chemically fuses the plastic surfaces together. This creates a strong, non-brittle and nearly seamless welded joint – ideal for model-building projects, repairs, multi-part printed models and complex assemblies.
The initial bond develops within approximately 4–5 seconds, and the joint is firm enough to handle in less than one minute. Thanks to its low-viscosity formula, the adhesive penetrates extremely fine gaps and spaces between the individual printed layers. Immediately after joining, there is still a brief window for accurately aligning the components.
Once fully cured, the bonded area can be painted over. 3D Weld is suitable for both smooth and porous printed surfaces and can also help smooth the surface during finishing.
