More choice for the safe handling of LiPo and lithium-ion batteries: the proven Extover® Coarse fire protection granulate is now also available from Voltmaster in practical 20-litre and generous 40-litre bags.
Together with the existing 55-litre bag, two additional sizes are now available. The compact 20-litre bag is particularly suitable for RC modellers, hobby workshops and smaller battery storage areas. The 40-litre version is ideal for larger workshops, model clubs, battery charging areas and commercial applications.
Extover® Coarse is made from purely mineral, non-combustible expanded glass with a particle size of approximately 1 to 4 mm. The granulate can surround burning or damaged batteries, reduce the supply of oxygen and limit the transfer of heat. At high temperatures, it may form a protective layer over the burning material and help reduce the risk of reignition.
Typical applications include the storage and transport of LiPo and lithium-ion batteries, safety boxes, quarantine containers, charging stations and preventive fire protection in workshops and hobby rooms.
The new 20 and 40-litre bags are available from Voltmaster now – providing the right quantity for every requirement and workshop size.
