The new Ares Indoor will be available for delivery from the middle of next week. Developed in cooperation with Krill Aircraft and Jack Jehle, it brings the flight characteristics of the large GFK Ares into an extremely lightweight yet robust 4 mm EPP indoor model.
Despite its low weight, the shockflyer offers high stability, easy repairability and very neutral, precise flight behavior. This makes the Ares Indoor ideal for training, freestyle flying and demanding 3D aerobatics. Two aileron servos enable a flaperon setup that supports slow, stable flight phases as well as dynamic knife-edge performance. The centrally mounted motor protects the propeller in minor impacts and helps achieve an optimal center of gravity.
The entire airframe is designed for minimal weight. Carbon rods and carbon strips reinforce the structure, providing torsional stiffness without unnecessary mass. As a result, the model remains precise and controllable even during aggressive maneuvers.
Power system and accessories available at Voltmaster
The matching power setup including motor, ESC, servos and propeller, as well as the recommended 2S 350–450 mAh LiPos, are available in our shop. All components are perfectly matched to the Ares Indoor.
