A sunny day, calm skies and plenty of aircraft: On 12 September 2026, members of FMC Memmingen joined MfG Lauben for a friendly flying day. A total of 23 pilots from the two clubs took part, while visitors enjoyed watching the flying and talking with fellow enthusiasts.
The range of models was impressive, from turbine jets, warbirds and vintage aircraft to aerobatic models and gliders. It was a chance to fly together, share experience and enjoy the hobby in good company.

According to the club’s website, its next event is an “Oldtimers and Biplanes” themed flying day on 3 October 2026 from 1:30 p.m. at its flying field in Westerheim.
