With the LiBa®Bag, we are expanding our product range with a high-quality and flexible inner packaging solution for the storage and transport of lithium batteries. The safety bag is particularly suitable for damaged, defective or suspicious lithium batteries that are subject to the special requirements of Special Provision 376 ADR.
The LiBa®Bag is made from durable functional fabric and features specially positioned ventilation areas. In the event of a battery incident, these areas support the controlled release of gases and help prevent uncontrolled pressure from building up inside the bag. Depending on its size and configuration, the LiBa®Bag is securely closed using heavy-duty hook-and-loop fasteners or safety buckles.
A key advantage is its flexible adaptation to different battery sizes. The LiBa®Bag can therefore be used for smaller RC model batteries as well as larger LiPo, lithium-ion, power tool, e-bike or industrial batteries. Individual dimensions and custom sizes are also available.
In RC modelling, lithium batteries may present an increased safety risk following a crash, deep discharge, mechanical damage or visible swelling. The LiBa®Bag provides a practical way to isolate such batteries and can be used as part of a suitable storage or transport solution.
Important: The LiBa®Bag is an inner packaging and does not constitute a complete ADR transport packaging on its own. For compliant transport, it must be combined with a suitable outer packaging and the required protective and filling materials. The appropriate solution depends on the condition, type and capacity of the battery as well as the intended transport route.
LiBa®Bags are available in various sizes and can be manufactured to suit individual batteries or applications upon request.
