Voltmaster is expanding its professional safety product range with the new LiBa® Barrel containers in 30 litres and 50 litres. These robust steel barrels are designed specifically for the safe collection, storage and transport of defective or critical lithium batteries in accordance with ADR regulations.
Both models are equipped with the proven LiBa® Vent system, which provides controlled pressure relief in case of a thermal incident. This makes the barrels suitable for workshops, recycling facilities, industrial environments and emergency services.
Key Features
ADR-compliant construction
The LiBa® Barrel series is approved for use under ADR Special Provisions 310, 376 and 377. Both barrel sizes meet the strict international requirements for transporting lithium batteries.
Robust steel design with fire-protective coating
Manufactured from 0.5 mm steel plate and coated in blue (RAL5010), the barrels offer high durability even in demanding environments. The 30L version features a reinforced bead, while the 50L version includes a stacking bead.
LiBa® Vent pressure-relief lid
The integrated multi-layer textile vent in the lid ensures controlled degassing and pressure release during a thermal event, significantly increasing operational safety.
Practical handling
Both versions come with a removable lid, tension ring with safety latch, and two side carrying handles. They are space-saving, nestable and easy to manage in daily use.
Optional use with Extover®
When combined with Extover® granulate or Extover® cushions, the barrels provide an additional thermal barrier and extinguishing effect.
