The new FLIX DLG combines traditional wooden model building with sporty flying fun. This compact RC discus-launch glider has a wingspan of 850 mm and is easy to transport, making it ideal for a spontaneous trip to the flying field or any suitable open space.
The kit consists of precisely CNC-cut balsa and plywood parts. Carbon-fibre spars provide excellent strength while keeping the overall weight extremely low. The model is controlled by rudder and elevator, so a simple 2-channel radio system is all you need.
Thanks to the accurately fitting parts, assembly is quick and straightforward. The launch peg can be installed for either right-handed or left-handed pilots. Turn, launch and start searching for thermals.
