Production of the revolutionary PA-28 began in the early 1960s in Piper's new manufacturing facilities in Vero Beach, Florida. The robust design and excellent handling quickly made the machine popular with private pilots and flight schools. More than 32,000 Cherokees have been built in all variants since the start of production. In the ranking of the most built civil aircraft the Cherokee occupies 4th place. The E-flite Cherokee 1.3m is our detailed implementation of this classic. Equipped with realistic scale details, position lights and flaps, as well as the true-to-original pendulum tail unit, it is the dream of every pilot who wants to own a Cherokee.

The E-flite Cherokee is a faithful replica of the original. The precisely implemented lines and the many scale details result in a combination of perfect handling and good performance. The panel lines, rivets and bumps and a pilot figure are only some highlights of the scale equipment. Functional features such as the factory fitted position lights, the sprung nose landing gear with large wheels support the good handling. The two-piece wing is equipped with the comfortable servo connector system. The built-in slit flaps effectively shorten the take-off and landing distance and also improve the slow flight characteristics.

The assembly takes only about the time the battery takes to charge and is done without glue. The fuselage and wing are made of lightweight carbon reinforced EPO foam. The 3 to 4 S 2200 to 3200 mAh LiPo battery can be easily accessed through the large access door in the fuselage. The 50A regulator and high power brushless motor offers much more than the required scale performance and also allows aerobatics and high speed cruising. In short, a model that flies as good as it looks!
