The FrSky receiver ARCHER GR8 offers significantly lower latency and higher performance than the previously known G-RX8 receivers due to the new ACCESS protocol. Furthermore, the wireless update is supported by the OTA (Over-The-Air) function. The ARCHER GR8 has been equipped with an improved high-precision variometer, which provides data on altitude and vertical speed. The output is via voice output or variometer sounds via the FrSky remote Control.

The ARCHER GR8 still has small dimensions, but is now equipped with a fixed housing. Due to the ACCESS protocol and hardware optimization, 8 high precision PWM channels and 16 SBUS channels can now be used simultaneously via standard servo connectors. In addition, an additional ACCESS receiver can be connected via the SBUS IN connector, thus creating a redundant system in which the receiver with the best signal is automatically used.
