With its unmistakable profile and exhilarating performance, the Ultimate has earned the respect of pilots for the aerobatic capabilities of a biplane. In the 1988 World Championship, pilot Gordon Price participated with the 10-300 after having built the first 10 Dash "Ultimate" in the mid-1980s. E-flite released the Ultimate2 in 2015 and received praise and recognition from RC pilots around the world for its solid aerobatic performance and 3D capability. With the Ultimate 3D follows a model that has the proven airframe and is therefore state of the art. A new drivetrain offers better performance in 3S and ballistic performance when using a 4S battery. The powerful and fast metal gear servos help to keep the extra power always under control. The BNF Basic version is equipped with a 60A spectrum Avian Smart controller, as well as the AR637TA receiver full-range telemetry with real-time data such as battery voltage, current, temperature and more.

Equipped with the latest innovations and upgrades, the E-flite Ultimate 3D biplane raises the bar for scale and aerobatic flying up to 3D performance. Stronger and faster metal-gear servos and ball-and-socket linkages provide precise and crisp control, while the symmetrically tapered hinge surfaces allow huge deflections to deliver extreme 3D performance. The new 3S AND 4S compatible drivetrain, with specially tuned propeller and engine, delivers abundant power and unlimited climb performance without any further modifications. With the Spektrum Avian 60A Smart Controller in conjunction with the AR637TA receiver (included in the BNF version), all important information such as battery voltage, current, temperature and other information is displayed directly on the display of the compatible remote control via full-range telemetry. With a 7+ channel remote control, additional functions such as thrust reverser for better ground handling and other unique features are possible. The fiberglass-reinforced hollow-core EPO construction provides a lightweight yet rugged cell with an impressive factory finish. The adhesive-free assembly of the Ultimate 3D is shorter than the battery's recharge time. Wings are assembled and disassembled without tools, making the Ultimate 3D easy to store and transport. This makes it the most practical and best choice for almost all pilots looking for their first or next biplane.
